As part of the Marketing and Communications team, I support the growth and consistency of the Active Minds brand across digital and print platforms. My work includes creating visual assets for social media, email, website, blogs, fundraising campaigns, programs, events, partnerships, and organizational communications. I collaborate closely with the Senior Visual Brand Manager, fellow designers, and cross-functional teams to develop thoughtful, on-brand materials that support Active Minds’ mission and connect with members, supporters, partners, and the broader public. I also assist with brand guideline alignment, print/vendor coordination, asset organization, and fast-response design needs across the organization.

Email & Blog Headers

I created visually engaging email and blog headers that reflect the organization’s mission of mental health awareness and education. These headers weren’t just decorative, they played a key role in drawing readers in, establishing tone, and reinforcing brand consistency across digital platforms. What makes this work really special is how it blends thoughtful design with purpose. Each header was crafted to be informative, emotionally resonant, and aligned with the organization’s values. I had to think critically about hierarchy, typography, color, and imagery to ensure the design would both catch attention and support the message, whether it was a donor email, a mental health resource, or a campaign blog post.

This project also strengthened my skills in brand communication, fast-paced content creation, and adapting design to fit multiple formats and screen sizes.

Social Media Post Design

I designed a social media post for the A.S.K. (Acknowledge, Support, Keep-in-Touch) campaign, a collaboration between Active Minds and MTV Entertainment Studios aimed at empowering young people to support peers facing mental health challenges. The post featured impactful statistics highlighting the campaign's effectiveness in preparing youth to offer emotional support. This design contributed to a broader initiative promoting peer-to-peer mental health support, providing young individuals with practical tools to assist those in nee

Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM) Campaign

I led the visual direction for Active Minds’ Mental Health Awareness Month campaign, collaborating across departments to deliver a cohesive and impactful design system. I managed the creation and delivery of key assets including banners, email headers, logo lockups, letter templates, and informational inserts. Working closely with development, marketing, and outreach teams, I ensured brand alignment and timely execution. The final designs received positive feedback from team members and helped amplify the campaign’s reach and clarity.

Active Minds Mental Health Conference 2025

Conference Signage

Designed a cohesive set of graphics to guide attendees throughout the conference space. Signage included directional signs for restrooms, breakout rooms, and other key areas, as well as informational pieces like Wi-Fi access details. Each sign was created to be clear, visually accessible, and aligned with the event’s branding for a seamless attendee experience.

Conference Pins

Created unique trading pin designs to reflect the conference theme and visual identity. These pins were developed to encourage attendee interaction, spark conversation, and serve as memorable keepsakes from the event. Each design balanced creativity with brand consistency, making them both collectible and visually impactful.

Back to School

For the Active Minds “Back to School” campaign, I designed a variety of branded assets, including a letter template and email headers. The letter template featured a dynamic, reader-friendly layout that highlighted personal stories of student mental health advocates while maintaining the organization’s visual identity. The email headers were created to engage supporters and encourage donations, emphasizing key campaign messages and calls to action. These assets contributed to a cohesive campaign experience across multiple touchpoints, helping Active Minds connect with their audience and amplify the voices of young advocates.

Active Minds Values Poster

Following Active Minds’ update to their organizational values, I designed a series of four framed posters to be displayed throughout their office, each representing one core value. The visual system centers on strong typographic hierarchy and a consistent layout to ensure clarity and readability at a distance, while subtle variations in composition allow each value to maintain its own identity.

Active Minds Amplify Summit Slide Presentation

Built a full summit presentation using a pre-established visual theme centered around circular forms and wave elements. Collaborated cross-functionally by synthesizing content created by multiple teams into a single, cohesive deck.

My role focused on visual storytelling—bringing structure, rhythm, and clarity to complex information while making the presentation feel dynamic, engaging, and on-brand.
